Fun in the Rain~

Today I went to Itaewon to get a pair of pants and to meet two of my friends from high school. I had this plan for almost a month and then when I woke up it was pouring rain!! First, I hesitated about going out so I called and tried to cancel. However, somehow during the conversation the rain started to slow down. So, here I go to Itaewon!

First, I leave the house and it started to rain again so went back up to my house and closed the windows. Meanwhile, I missed the bus to the station. I waited about 15 more minutes and then the bus came. I got on the bus and went to the subway station. As soon as I got off the bus, there goes the subway. I waved goodbye and said, "Great, now i have to wait 20 more minutes." I was already an hour late from the original plan. Due to the rain we pushed the waiting time to an hour later. However, after the smooth subway ride I got to Itaewon and there goes the rain pouring all around me and my 6,000 won umbrella was not doing its job! The rain was coming through:(

One of my friends was already there that i have not seen in a year and the other one was soon to come. Everyone had arrived and now we had to decide where to go eat. the place where we wanted to go was too far because of the rain so we picked another place close by. However we walked 3 minutes and I was already soaking wet!! After having a good cheeseburger at a place called Geckos, we decided to have some coffee. We were walking towards Cafe Bene and it took about 8 minutes to get there. In that 8 minutes, i had the most fun i had in years! I love to play in the rain! I was splashing one of my friends and she was splashing me. We were chasing each other in the rain and having the time of our lives!

Finally we arrived at the coffee shop and as i was staring out the window at the rain pouring on an outside table, i thought to myself, " i have been using "being busy" as an excuse not to have fun but actually i was not having fun because i was lazy." Staying home watching shows on the internet, working on classses and doing the same thing every day, work, home, classes, shows, in whichever order you want to put it in. It became a ritual to me, work, home, classes, shows... every day was the same just with different clothes and a different show.

If I base it on the fun I had today, I would just love to jump up and have fun everyday. But, tomorrow is a brand new day and I do not know which side of the bed I will wake up on. So we will see how the having fun thing goes:)

Saying for today

“what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong, if you stop viewing things your way you will see what is right”.
I've just finish my business ethic class and on one of the discussion was about "How has your view of ethics changed since you started this course"? Well my answer was "Before taking this class I didn’t know the existence of ethics. I guess I just categorized everything as either right or wrong. I didn’t know there were specific names for right and wrong. I don’t think my view changed much, however I did gain a lot of knowledge on ethical issues and the specific names for them. My saying stays the same “what’s right is right and what’s wrong is wrong, if you stop viewing things your way you will see what is right”.

My One and Only

Oh! How I love the color red on you, you always catch my attention with that red on you.

You have this unique smell that I will never forget. That smells that lingers through my nostrils when I am not with you.
I love your softness and oh how I love to just rub you all night long. I hate the day because of all the comfort you give me at night.
Oh! How I wish the night to never end. I love being with you, I wish I can take you with me everywhere but I know it is not possible.
The world would not prove us right. They would not understand our bond with each other.
Oh! How I miss your touch and smell by day and can’t wait until I get home to you.
Oh! My one and only one you always know exactly what I want when I get home.
Oh! As I lay down I wish it would never end. I love being with you and always want to stay by you.
I am sorry that you are too big for me to take around and because of that I wish the nights will never end.
One day my one and only, you and I will spend the night and day together.
Just one day when I retire from this world I will stay with you by day and night. It will be just me and you and no one else.
Oh! My one and only how sad is it that I can’t take you around everywhere I go. And the moments you are not by me, I ache for your comfort, and your touch.
Oh! My one and only too bad that you are my bed and you are too big for me to carry.
Another poem from my assignment hehehe have a great day~~

Tonight's Dinner

I made pizza tonight for dinner and it was perty good. With the leftover dough I made Calzones~
Dough Receipe
Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius
In a small bowl mix
1 pkg of yeast
1 cup warm water
LET IT SIT
In a large mixing bowl
2 1/2 cups of flour
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp sugar
Mix those in a bowl
Add the yeast and water into the flour mixture
Also add 2 Tbs of oil
Knead the dough until smooth and then place it on a floured surface then roll it out.
After rolling let it rise for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Place the dough into a greased pizza pan and then put whatever topping you desire.
Bake it for about 12-15 minutes or whoever brown you want it.
That is all`~~ :)
This recipe is from a friend, Leslie Kidd, now Leslie Ring (now that she has a ring on her finger:)

Chocolate Bitter Sweet

Oh how you chug down the chocolates
Like

you have never eaten them before
You give so much love to the chocolate
For being so sweet
But yet you get bitter when
it
Returns your love to your tummy

This was one of the poems that I wrote for my creative writing class. I thought I will share this with you all chocolate fans.
PS...
Thank you Kim for modeling for me.

Grace Flows Down

Amazing grace, How sweet the sound

Amazing Love, Now flowing down

From hands and feet, That were nailed to the tree

As grace flows down and covers me

It covers me

It covers me

It covers me

And covers me

We sang this song couple of times at church.

And
This song makes my eyes watery.
Every time
It pokes my heart, it pinches my heart, it bites my heart.

And

It makes me feel very uncomfortable

Because

I know I'm rebelling. I know I'm going against HIS words.

And

He reminds me every time to STOP.

Then

I say OK I will stop and I'm Sorry for acting the way I am.

But

Easy said than done. Soon as I turn I'm right back to my old self.

I feel like a little child standing in between two way roads

Not knowing where to go.
